Hi, I'm Tilly, the founder, designer and seamstress behind Dapper Dogs.
I started Dapper Dogs in 2017 at the age of 12, with our cavapoo Pippin as my very first model. Over the years my sewing improved and my designs developed, and I ran the brand until 2021 before taking a break. I’m currently studying Spanish and Marketing at university. Now I’m 21, and I've decided to relaunch and I'm ready to get back to doing what I love.
Every piece is handmade by me, a skill passed down from my grandma, a brilliant sewer who taught me everything I know.
Dapper Dogs became known for our reversible pop stud bandanas, which allows two looks for the price of one, easily swapped to suit any occasion. Practical, stylish, and a firm favourite with our customers over the years.
Our dogs have always been at the heart of the brand. Pippin started it all, then came Poppy our peekapoo (a Pekingese and poodle cross). We were also lucky to foster Murph, our King Charles Cavalier, who we sadly lost in 2023 and miss greatly. Our newest addition is Dave the miniature dachshund (David when he's misbehaving), who has wasted no time in taking over as chief model.
